The act of offering or consenting to give a national or foreign public employee an economic benefit through the offering of objects, favors, money, or other means, for the benefit of the employee or a third party, in order to induce improper actions or omissions in the performance of their duties.

To possess, transport, purchase, sell, transform, or trade in any way stolen species, animals subject to theft or misappropriation, that have been received under any title, knowing their irregular origin or being obligated to know it.

To conceal or disguise the illicit origin of certain assets, knowing that they stem from the conversion of illegitimate money derived from activities punishable by law. Likewise, anyone who acquires, possesses, holds, or uses such assets for profit, knowing their illegal origin at the time of receipt.

These requirements (physical contact, innuendos, e-mail) can be proposals, innuendos, vulgar language or gestures, showing pornographic material, among others. Persistence with sexual behaviour, after the person subject to it has expressed that it is undesirable, is what makes such conduct harassment. 

Situations where the individual interests of an employee or collaborator conflict with those of the company in a real, potential, or apparent manner, risking the objectivity required to act in alignment with the organization’s interests. This includes any actions taken for personal benefit or preference over the company’s welfare. Examples include using connections obtained through the company for personal purposes, utilizing company equipment, assets, or resources to support external businesses or personal activities, or favoring directly or indirectly the hiring of suppliers, contractors, or third parties due to familial, friendly, or other relationships not based on objective business considerations.

This category also includes any requests made by employees or collaborators to suppliers, contractors, or third parties associated with the company—whether explicit or implicit—that demand any kind of compensation, gifts, or personal benefits as a condition for contracting with the company or as a reward to improve hiring prospects or terms.

Any distinction, exclusion, or preference in treatment based on criteria such as race, color, sex, religion, union affiliation, political opinion, disability, or any other factor deemed irrational or unjustified, which results in altering or nullifying equal treatment among employees, customers, or suppliers.

Disclosing or improperly using confidential, privileged, private, or commercial information belonging to the company. Examples include databases, confidential information about employees or clients, business plans, etc.

Any behavior resulting in the improper use of company assets, whether by indiscriminate use or for purposes other than those intended. This includes actions involving all material and immaterial resources accessed during work, whether they belong to the company, its clients, or its suppliers.

The unauthorized appropriation or improper removal of money, products, materials, equipment, or other company assets.

Causing financial harm to someone through deceit with the intent of obtaining personal gain.

The manipulation or alteration of accounting or financial records, in any form, to report economic facts that do not reflect reality or to maliciously hide or modify total or partial results of the company’s management.

Performing work activities under the influence of drugs endangers the safety of individuals.
